St. Thomas Church

St. Thomas Anglican Church expanded their existing heritage building with a 7,000 sq.ft. addition. The new building was added to the stone and wood frame church to include a new nave, an elevator fir accessibility, and a daycare centre. Exposed long span glued-laminated wood arches frame the nave. Structural steel was used strategically in concealed areas with wood framing for the walls and tower roof. Long-span hollow core concrete slabs were used for the main floor. David Moses worked on this project while at a previous firm.
