Rouge National Urban Park Visitor, Learning and Community Centre
The new Rouge National Urban Park Visitor, Learning and Community Centre has been designed to prompt greater engagement among visitors as well as encourage newcomers to experience the 12,000 acres of beautiful parkland surrounding the Rouge River. The Y-shaped center will be constructed using timber and steel and will include floor to ceiling windows that merge interior and exterior spaces. Once completed, the building will include a learning center, food offerings, washrooms, a gift shop, and Parks Canada office space.
