This boathouse, complete with upper level living accommodations, was designed within strict requirements for local by-laws and to meet the dimensional requirements for the boats up to 24’ docked within the building. We listened carefully to our client’s needs and took care to align structural members within the small building footprint to minimize their impact on the form and function of the boathouse, resulting in a very clean and expressive building in steel and heavy timber.
