The new Honey Bee Research Centre at the University of Guelph is a 15,000 sq.ft. facility designed to support world-leading research, public education, and sustainable beekeeping practices. The centre includes a 100-hive apiary alongside research space, production and outreach programs, laboratories, offices, and classrooms. The multipurpose space offers opportunities for hosting school groups and social functions, supports world-class research, and functions as a demonstration facility for best practices in commercial beekeeping and honey production.
