Located in the Kawarthas, Camp Maple Leaf has been the summer home for children with parents in the military service for over 65 years and welcomes children with unique life challenges. Camp Maple Leaf’s new 6,300 sq. ft. dining hall features 8 heavy glued-laminated timber frames with a clear span of 40’ acting as both gravity and lateral resisting elements. The prefabricated design was well suited for the remote location of the camp and the short building season.
