Located in the mountains of Mt. Rainier Park, east of Tacoma Washington and at 2,800 ft elevation, this 11,000 sq.ft. dining hall services the local Boy Scouts of America. We developed a system of 16 repeating bents to maintain a 62-foot clear span with no intermediate supports throughout the hall. All timber bents were precision cut using CNC machines prior to shipping and lifted into place on site. The heavy timber frames were designed by David Moses while at a previous firm.
