This new housing development consists of 13-blocks of 4-storey townhouses for a total of 84 units. The approximate total area if 147,000 sq.ft. We worked with the architect to develop structural layouts using engineered lumber (I-joists, LVL) with OSB shear walls on wood frame stud walls using a combination of Part 9 and Part 4 code design. Other structural design elements include foundations using conventional spread footings, masonry firewalls and foundation-supported brick veneer cladding. Wood-frame elements are prefabricated off-site. Construction completed in 2024.
