Our engineers’ early work on the Art Gallery of Ontario almost 20 years ago led the way in connection detailing, 3D modelling and CNC machining technologies which are now at the core of the mass timber industry.
Moses Structural Engineers has been at the forefront of innovation, working on the first use of cross-laminated timber in Canada, the first use of cross-laminated timber in Ontario, the first 6-storey mass timber residential building in Toronto, and co-authoring numerous guides including the Tall Wood Building Reference for Ontario, the Ontario Wood Bridge Reference Guide, and Chapter 13 of FPInnovations CLT Handbook with a detailed example of Tall Wood building design.
