Antonio Franco designed and detailed the new CLT roof panels for the new Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in Brantford, Ontario. Installation took place in mid-October 2012. The Daily Commercial News cover story on October 25th highlighted the benefits and speed of using large wood panels for installation. Antonio designed the connections to speed the installation and ensure that the entire 12,000 sq.ft. roof acts as one large diaphragm for wind forces.
