David was invited to participate in a panel discussion at the annual International QUEST conference for Smart Energy Communities in Cold Climates held in Winnipeg on November 21, 2012. As a member of the Tri-lateral task force on green building for Canada, the United States and Mexico, David presented on topics related to the embodied energy of building materials and low energy alternatives for sustainable materials.
