The Wood Engineering Achievement Award is awarded by the Forest Products Society on an annual basis to an individual who has had a “measurable and significant impact on the field of wood engineering […] with tangible evidence of accomplishment in the field being the key.” David was presented with the award at the 65th International Convention of the Forest Products Society, held in Portland, Oregon.
