Moses Structural Engineers presents the second annual #TimberFever Design-Build Challenge at Ryerson University. We’re teaming up architectural science and civil engineering students to put their knowledge of woodwork and design to the test and build a life-size structure.
The event is taking place this Friday September 23 until Sunday September 25, 2016 at Ryerson University.
We are revealing the design brief at the start of the competition and the students will work with their mentors on the design. The judges will select the winners on Sunday and the winning teams will receive a cash prize. Judging will be based on aesthetics, structural design, originality and presentation.
The general public is invited to watch the final build take place on Ryerson’s Gould Street this Sunday afternoon, September 25, 2016, beginning at 1 p.m. The public will also be invited to vote online for the People’s Choice Award until Tuesday September 27.
