
The Carmen Corbasson Community Centre in Mississauga has reopened following a major renovation and expansion designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects. Moses Structural Engineers provided structural design services for the mass timber roof system, helping realize the project’s “Pavilion in the Forest” concept—a naturally lit, warm environment that connects recreation with nature.
The result is a vibrant, modernized facility that showcases how mass timber can bring both performance and beauty to civic architecture.
