
We’re here! Moses Structural Engineers provides custom residential, commercial, recreational and institutional design work. We specialize in novel design solutions in heavy timber, structural steel, concrete, cladding systems, solar array systems and long-span structures. We are committed to using sustainable methods of construction, educating our clients and the community and rehabilitating existing building stock to reduce energy demand.

David Moses, PhD, PEng, PE, LEED®AP has been involved in over 200 structural engineering projects in Canada and the United States. David spent 10 years with Equilibrium Consulting Inc. in Vancouver and Toronto before founding Moses Structural Engineers Inc. in 2010. David has specialized in timber engineering and natural building materials for nearly 20 years, and through his research, publications, awards and speaking events, he is a recognized leader in this field in North America. In 2009 David received the “Wood Engineering – Advocate” award from Ontario WoodWorks! for his work in designing and promoting the use of Ontario wood products, and in 2011 he received the 2011 “Wood Engineering Achievement” award from the Forest Products Society. David sits on CSA code committees in the Forest Products sector including the steering committee and technical committees “Solid and Engineered Wood Products” and “Wood Based Panel Products.”
Antonio Franco, MSCE, PEng, has 7 years experience as a structural engineer specializing in steel construction and timber and 2 years experience as a part-time university professor in structural analysis and steel structures.
Steve Mah, MEng, EIT, specializes in designing structures and is a writer, traveller and musician.
Karen Mesa is a drafting technologist working with AutoCAD, specializing in BIM and 3D design environments.
